Pāwaʻa In-Ha Park closing for maintenance this Friday

Seven week closure from Friday, July 13 to Friday, August 31, 2018

Honolulu -- Pāwaʻa In-Ha Park is scheduled to be closed this Friday to address several maintenance projects within the park.

This closure will allow park maintenance crews to perform: repairs to the irrigation system, graffiti removal, power washing, fertilizing and aerating the park turf, repairing park amenities such as tables and benches, and other park improvements. The Division of Urban Forestry will also be doing tree trimming at this park.

The closure is expected to last seven weeks. The park is scheduled to reopen on Friday, August 31. The park is normally closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The 1.68-acre park is located on S. King Street between Ke‘eaumoku and Kaheka streets.

We thank the public for their patience and understanding while this park facility is closed.
