Bellows Field Beach Park closing for military training from May 10 to 13

Bellows Field Beach Park and its campsites will be closed to the public from Friday, May 10 to Monday, May 13 in support of sustainment training for the United States Marine Corps. The beach park is normally closed to the public on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Campsites will be available at other nearby city park campgrounds, including Waimānalo Bay Beach Park and Waimānalo Beach Park.

On-line reservation requests begin at 5 p.m. (HST) on the Friday two weeks prior to the camping dates at camping.honolulu.gov. Camping reservations for this site will resume on Friday, May 3 for the camping period beginning on Friday, May 17.

Bellows Field Beach Park is under the purview of the military, but is open for public access on weekends and holidays in an agreement with the City and County of Honolulu. The military reserves the right to close the park for their purposes.
